Peggy Hsieh's career in the fastener industry began at BBI in Operations, coordinating warehouse moves. With her experience and education in Business Administration, Economics and Finance she is now the Chief Operating Officer at Brighton-Best International, Inc. Peggy shares her praise of how BBI delivers top-notch Customer Service, her favorite aspect of her job and her hobbies.
Some background. I joined Brighton-Best in 2008. Prior to BBI, I worked in Private Equity at Bank of America and in Consulting at McKinsey & Co. I graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Economics. I later earned my Masters in Finance at London Business School.
How you started, what you do now. I started in Operations coordinating the Brighton-Best warehouses moves. I am now the Chief Operating Officer.
What is one accomplishment in your present job are you most proud of? One accomplishment I am most proud of is BBI’s customer service level. Through technology combined with top notch employees, BBI is able to resolve problems before or when they occur. Everyone at BBI knows that 90% is just not good enough.
What is one favorite thing about your job? My favorite thing about my job is to be able to strategize and execute changes. I believe that if you are not continuously moving forward you are already behind.
What is one thing we might not know about you that you would like the Fastener Industry to know? I love reading biographies and working on Proferred.com
